For the first 3 years, the 'Just Like You' Project received funding
from the One World Network North East (OWNNE) to introduce and support
a global dimension into the curriculum in schools from the Tees
to the Tweed, through school linking. This funding ceased in September
2005 and so efforts have been made to secure funding from other
sources.
Schools who would like:
introductory sessions from developmentDirect about setting up and maintaining a school link
contact with a school in Africa
further details about the 'Just Like You' project
sessions with the pupils relating to aspects of their linked school to promote interest
can apply to OWNNE for a grant
